JOANNA COLLANTINE KERR

Joanna, a fifteen-year resident of North Andover, has more than a decade of experience managing and restoring historic properties including the Stevens Estate at Osgood Hill and Lanam Club in Andover.

Joanna has a passion for historic research and storytelling. Her strong facilities management, sustainable restoration and reuse capabilities and historic preservation background are critical in leading the North Andover Historical Society into a new era of long-term growth, promoting the significance of North Andover’s history and developing initiatives to support the organization’s mission.

Originally from Manchester, U.K, Joanna has a B.Sc. in Hospitality from Manchester Metropolitan University. Joanna loves spending time with her son, Adam, hiking, gardening, and volunteering with the North Andover Improvement Society, of which she is a Board member.

Robin Siegel

Archivist

Robin has 15 years of experience in museum collections and archives. She has worked at many museums and historical societies over the years, including the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. She also has a strong background in local history, having run the Boxford Historic Document Center since 2019.

She has a B.A. in anthropology from U.C. Berkeley and a Master of Liberal Arts in history and museum studies from Tufts University. Outside of work, Robin enjoys visits to Vermont, hiking with her dog, reading, genealogical research, and spending time with her husband and two young daughters.

MARIE COSTELLO

Marie Costello is a curator and art historian with an MA in Art History from Tufts University and an ABD from Boston University in Art History. She is also trained as a book restorer (Biblioteca Nazionale di Firenze) and Art Appraiser (Mass College of Art). As Director of the Lehman Arts Center at Brooks School in North Andover and later, at the Union College Mandeville Gallery, she curated over 20 exhibitions including: Andy Warhol: Early Work, Allison Katz: The Liberator of the Liberator, Afghanistan: Weaving the Texts of War, High and Low: Projects of Eisenman Architects, African Photography, For Whose Eyes: Constructing and Deconstructing Identities, and Art or Evidence: The Power of Photojournalism. At the Worcester Art Museum, Costello was Project Manager for Hope and Healing: Painting in Italy in a Time of Plague and more recently she was an independent curator for Infinite Present: Revelations from Islamic Design in Contemporary Art (Cambridge City Hall). Costello’s curatorial projects focus on cross-cultural influences and changes in perception over time.

David Blauvelt

Museum Educator

David is an educator, historian, and archaeologist with a passion for synthesizing and sharing everything he has learned. He is a graduate of Boston University and earned an MSci. from the University of Edinburgh. His archaeology work has sent him excavating across the East Coast and in Ireland and the U.K. David has worked across academia, private and public archaeology, historic sites, museums, schools, and camps; always with an eye toward delivering engaging, accurate, and up to date interpretation. As the Secretary of the Northbridge Historical Commission, he will be extending his care for historic properties and imaginative approach to program development to The North Andover Historical Society. When David isn't teaching, writing, or reading he can be found cooking, needle felting, sculpting, or working with his multimedia analog art collective.

Lindsey Mayo

Lindsey Mayo is an advancement professional with 15+ years of experience in non-profit fundraising, donor relations, marketing communications and events.  She holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University and BA in Public Administration from University of Maine.  Lindsey is past president of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Lawrence, serves as a Trustee of the Stevens Memorial Library, and is active volunteer with Alpha Phi International Fraternity. Lindsey lives in N. Andover with her husband and two children. 

LiSA ROBERTS

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Lisa brings nearly 30 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and public relations, with work spanning organizations such as BBG New Media, W.R. Grace & Co., Mahoney’s Garden Centers, and Clarks International. In addition to her corporate experience, she spent several years as a stay-at-home mom while running a successful part-time consulting business, combining her photography and marketing expertise, to support small businesses. Lisa has written for a range of publications, including People, Places and Plants, the North Andover Citizen, and the Andover Townsman. Currently she works in a marketing capacity for the North Andover Historical Society, teaches at Northern Essex Community College and sits on the Old Center Historic District Commission in North Andover.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a focus on advertising, from Salem State University, and a Master of Science in Mass Communication from Boston University. Lisa has a passion for history and genealogy, enjoys hiking, skiing (water, snow and nordic) and traveling, and loves to get her hands dirty in the garden. She resides in North Andover with her husband and two college-aged daughters.

Kristin Bachmann

As the contract bookkeeper for NAHS, Kristin works closely with the Executive Director and Treasurer of the board ensuring funding and expenses are accurately recorded for reporting purposes. In addition to her bookkeeping duties, she is always willing to lend a hand with any of the many projects that arise at the Society. She holds a BFA from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. 

Kristin and her family reside in Haverhill, MA. When not at NAHS, Kristin and her husband John enjoy watching their daughter dance both competitively & professionally. You will also find them year round at any of the local hockey rinks cheering on their son.

ANTOINE Trombino-Ponte

FACILITIES MANAGER

Antoine is the Facilities Manager for the Stevens Center and caretaker at Johnson Cottage. He is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings and grounds. Antoine has 6+ years of experience in the museum industry including education and historic preservation as well as a background in historic crafts and reenactment. Outside of NAHS, Antoine also works as an Education Specialist at the John F. Kennedy Library & Museum in South Boston, and teaches English for Community Action, Inc. in Haverhill.

GERRY ERWIN

CARETAKER: PARSON BARNARD HOUSE

Gerry Erwin is the Caretaker for the Parson Barnard House.  Gerry served in the US Army, then went to the Manchester school of technology to become an electrician. He holds six licenses in four states and has over twenty years of experience as an electrician in the construction industry. The past 12 years of his career have been in management. On a personal note, Gerry is the proud father of Bryce. He is enjoying being part of the NAHS family and taking care of the 1715 Parson Barnard house.
