North Andover native, Eva Hamori, was recently honored with the Lifetime Preservation Award (LPA) by the North Andover Historical Society (NAHS)
North Andover, Mass., October 6, 2025 – North Andover native, Eva Hamori, was recently awarded the Lifetime Preservation Award (LPA) by the North Andover Historical Society (NAHS). Established in 2014, this prestigious award annually celebrates a North Andover resident who has shown exemplary commitment to the preservation of the town’s history, heritage and/or open spaces. This year the event raised almost $38,000 for NAHS.
Hamori embraces her parents’ values of volunteerism and community service. Since returning to town in 2000, she has been deeply involved with numerous local organizations dedicated to enhancing and maintaining North Andover's beauty and quality of life.
She served as President of the 140-year-old North Andover Improvement Society for more than 20 years, and is especially proud of the organization’s recent revitalization. A passionate reader, she has also been a Trustee of the Stevens Memorial Library for over 16 years.
Her dedication to civic service extends to town infrastructure and education. Eva is a long-term member of the School Building Committee and is currently contributing to the development of the new Kittredge School. She also served on the Police Station Building Committee and was a member of the town Finance Committee in the mid-2000s. Additionally, she is a member of the North Andover Historical Society and the Women’s Club.
“Eva has been a steadfast voice for our town for many years,” says Stan Limpert, Chairman of the Lifetime Preservation Award Committee and member of the North Andover Historical Society’s Board of Directors. “Having worked alongside her for many of those years, I saw first-hand how people are drawn to her leadership and inspired by her vision. It's wonderful to see her receive this well-deserved recognition for her hard work.”
Professionally, Eva is the Director of Move Management and a certified Change Management Practitioner at STV, Inc., a national consulting firm. She leads a team that specializes in managing complex relocation projects for clients in the life sciences, academia, healthcare, manufacturing, and corporate sectors.
