St. Michael Church 150th Anniversary Parish Picnic

IT’S BEEN 150 YEARS!

On November 19, 1869, the first Saint Michael Church in North Andover was dedicated. We invite you to join our parish community in celebrating our rich past, our present opportunities and exciting future. All are welcome to our upcoming festivities. This event is open to the public!

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29

PARISH PICNIC: 1-5 PM

12 Noon Mass on the North Andover Common, followed by the party of the year featuring great food, live music, games, baking contest, pony rides, crafts, historic photo booth, and much more!

The North Andover Historic Society is honored to partner with Saint Michael Parish on the Historic aspect of their 150th Anniversary celebrations. We will be offering fun Historic Toys, Games and an assortment of “Adventures in Time” arts & crafts from 1-5PM. Stop by and say hello!

  • Like us on Facebook and/or Instagram at the picnic and enter our Free Raffle for great historic prizes.

  • Join our E-blast list during the picnic and receive a FREE Gift: “A Walking Tour of North Andover’s Historic District”.

  • Saint Michael Parish will be serving food from 1-4PM.

    • Food tickets will be available for sale at the picnic and available for advance purchase at the Reception Desk at Saint Michael Parish. Details.

    • Food Menu: BBQ Chicken, Burgers, Pasta Salad, Corn on the Cob, Baked Beans, Corn Bread, Potato Chips, Snow Cones and beverages.

All other events and activities are FREE!

Donations to the North Andover Historical Society are welcome and help support our educational programs.

The picnic is open to the public. All are welcome!

April Vacation Week Pop-up program : Teddy Bear Workshop

Stuffed bears became popular during the childhood of our own Miss Sallie Fields--come learn a little history behind this iconic toy and test out your sewing (and gluing skills).

  • The program runs between 1-3 pm on Wednesday, April 17th.

  • Materials fee: $4 a child, payable at the door.

  • Limit 10 Children
